After a few leaked snippets hit the Internet today, April 15th, Lady Gaga and her label have decided to put a rush release on the second single from her album "Born This Way", "Judas". At the time of this writing, "Judas" had not impacted the stores of the US iTunes store, but it was comfired to be released in other countries such as the United Kingdom and Norway. Even with no set release time, it is confirmed that the track will be released today instead of Tuesday as originally planned. The song, which bares some similarities to "Bad Romance", is a loud, club-thumping, track that was produced by RedOne. The song may sound like the normal dance track, but I must say that it is not the typical "Gaga" release. The track contains a serious message and meaning about falling for the wrong person, but you cannot seem to leave them. Gaga's vocals are perfection hear and I am glad to hear something that is different from the title track, shows how diverse the album will be when it is finally released on May 23rd. To me, "Judas", is a step up from first single "Born This Way", only because I feel Gaga is stepping outside of the box and giving fans a new side of the artist that she is. The message is great, the beats flow nicely, and Gaga just sounds amazing like she does on every other song. The message on "Born This Way" stands strong, but I think as a whole "Judas" is a tad bit better, one that I am sure will excited her audience and cause quite a bit of controversy along the way. The song gets an A in my book because it is Gaga, but more importantly because it is just an awesome song to bang your head to.
