Cashmere is lightweight, soft, odor-free and long-lasting. Buy one cashmere sweater, and it’ll be a staple in your wardrobe for years.
But cashmere is difficult to harvest — you’re importing these fibers from actual goats, often located in remote countries (see: Mongolia). And it takes about four goats to make one sweater.
So affordability was never in play until Naadam, the direct-to-consumer cashmere brand, debuted its very literal Essential $75 Sweater, a 100% Mongolian cashmere beauty that costs about a third of what you’d expect to pay.
The last time Naadam had these, they sold out almost immediately, so you’ll want to order one now (because no matter how it feels outside, we’ll hit sweater weather in just a few months).
The revived $75 sweater is updated to include 13 colors in both crew and v-neck styles. The fit is now a bit more streamlined and tailored as well, and there are more sizing options (XXS-XXL).
