Jess Glynne's "Hold My Hand" - Single Review

You probably know the voice, but how well do you really know UK beauty Jess Glynne? The singer-songwriter was thankfully everywhere in 2014, including being featured on two UK number one hits, the bright "Rather Be" by Clean Bandit (which is nominated for a GRAMMY this year) and the eurodance "My Love" by Route 94, however, the talented artist is ready to make a name for herself in 2015.

Glynne recently released the sparkling house/pop number "Hold My Hand", which does an amazing job at shining more light on the artist's unique and soulful vocals. It's the vocal performance, paired with vibrant disco-like production, that allows the new track to stand out far away from the rest of the crowd. If for nothing else, the track should become a hit for the chorus itself. Epic.

Baring some progression similarities to the aforementioned "Rather Be", Glynne's new "Hold My Hand" is another step in the right direction for the artist. Glynne is singing that she is finally ready to let love in, no longer denying the feelings she has had pent up inside. "Soul is like a melting pot, when you're not next to me, tell me that you've got me and you're never gonna leave," she sings.

We now know Glynne could certainly handle a successful pop tune, she can hit the high notes, but it is nice and refreshing to hear her on a solo venture. She effortlessly knocks it out of the park. Her new single should have no problem creeping into the UKs top ten, with a chance of crossing over into the U.S. radio territory. It would definitely be a much deserved achievement.

"Hold My Hand" is nice tease and strong lead offering from Glynne's upcoming album, set for release in 2015. The single is tailored for the dancefloor, it would sound perfect blasting it in the sunshine with friends, or while you're taking your first dance with your future husband or wife. It has the feel good vibe everyone is craving at the moment. Press play and smile!
